Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to the 2019 University of North Carolina System Advancement Symposium!

Each year this conference continues to grow and provide advancement professionals with resources and access to some of the best minds in the industry. This year, we are excited to be in Greenville, NC – the “capital” of the eastern part of our state and home of the mighty Pirates of East Carolina University. As the host institution, ECU invites you to take in the sights, stroll through its beautiful campus, and discover more of Pitt County’s treasures.

The 2019 Advancement Symposium planning committee has worked hard to create topic sessions that will provide advancement professionals with the tools they need to excel in their profession. Whether you’re a newcomer, mid-career, or senior level advancement officer, you’ll learn about innovative strategies and acquire fresh ideas from some of the most prominent advancement leaders from across the state and nation.

This will be an opportunity for you to dive into robust dialogues, insightful conversations, lively forums, and discussions that promote smart ideas and best practices. We encourage participants to come fully prepared to engage with colleagues in both content and colloquium. As the only System-wide conference that brings together Advancement professionals from across North Carolina, we encourage you to use this time to network with other professionals and colleagues from the UNC System institutions.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2019 University of North Carolina System Advancement Symposium, May 15-17 at East Carolina University. Follow us on social media @UNC_System, #2019AdvSymposium.
