Andrew Kelly Named UNC Senior Vice President for Strategy and Policy

Andrew P. Kelly, a resident scholar in education policy studies and director of the Center on Higher Education Reform at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), has been named to the newly created post of senior vice president for strategy and policy of the 17-campus University of North Carolina.

UNC Board of Governors to Meet Friday, May 27

The University of North Carolina Board of Governors will hold its board meeting on Friday, May 27, 2016, at the Center for School Leadership Development building in Chapel Hill. Standing committee meetings will be held Thursday, May 26, along with a strategic priorities discuss beginning at 9:00 a.m.


As part of its efforts to operate more transparently, the UNC Board of Governors will now hold regular public comment sessions in conjunction with its meetings to provide members of the University community and the public an opportunity to share concerns and present issues related to the UNC system.

Solér Selected as Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning Fellow

Michelle Lowe Solér has been selected as a 2016 fellow for the Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning (IELOL), a leadership development program sponsored by the Online Learning Consortium and Penn State University.
